Dayr Ballout is considered the most productive area for olives within the Salfit Governorate that is close to the Mediterranean Sea.
Dayr Ballut Agricultural Cooperative was formed in 2013. It constitutes of 23 members, with an approximate annual sales amount of 10 tons of olive oil.
